I already woke up with strong migraine-like headaches on the morning of the course. Nevertheless, I took part in the course, luckily! Requirements for the Reiki Teacher (Shinpiden / Level 4) Course
Completion of Reiki Level 3 (Master) is a prerequisite—they offer the two levels together for best integration
In‑depth knowledge: You must understand and be able to draw from memory the Reiki symbols, and be familiar with advanced techniques such as distant healing (past/future), chakra balancing, Kenyoku, Byosen, Gassho, Gakkai’s Hatsu Rei Ho, and others
Regular self-practice is expected—both for yourself and others, to deepen your skill and energy connection
Teaching ability & initiation: You should be able to lead courses, design lesson plans, initiate others into all Reiki levels, and conduct initiation rituals correctly
Ethical conduct & personal development: Respect, integrity, responsibility in your work with clients/students, along with ongoing spiritual growth, are essential
If your previous training was elsewhere, a short evaluation or re‑taking earlier levels may be required to ensure alignment before certification
